Second Diocesan Youth Summit Rocks
Date: October 26, 2014
Nearly 2,000 junior and senior high school students (plus their chaperones) converged on Boylan Central Catholic High School in Rockford Oct. 26 for the second Catholic Youth Summit sponsored by the Rockford Diocese. The event featured both fun and faith-filled moments, including games and songs, speakers and Mass with Bishop David Malloy. The Q&A session with Bishop Malloy started out with a heavy emphasis on angel questions, but soon broadened to a variety of topics – from the fate of the unbaptized to ways for young people to evangelize.
