A Groundbreaking for Mary

A new “Mary, Mother of Mercy” Rosary Walk is underway at St. Rita Parish in Rockford. Bishop David Malloy helped Father John Evans, pastor, business manager Michael McGarry and Mark Walter of Walter’s Landscaping break ground for the walk on May 6. Students at St. Rita School held a living rosary right after the groundbreaking, which was preceded by an all-school Mass.
