Tribunal

A tribunal court is a name given to the persons who exercise the Church's judicial powers. By its very nature, this procedure involves the determination of a legal controversy. A major concern of tribunals is conducting the process leading to the dissolution or invalidity of marriages. Decisions are based on Church law. The Tribunal also assists the person in understanding the importance of marriage, and their rights and duties as Christians.
