Baptism is the First Sacrament of intitiation into the Catholic Church.  Catholics traditionally have their child baptised soon after they are born.  Parents are asked to contact the Deaf Apostolate Office to arrange for the baptism of their child.  Preparation can take place BEFORE the child is actually born.
